Waking Night Live In Carer (Learning Disabilities & Epilepsy Experience is a MUST)
Location: Roehampton
Hours: Full-time, Waking Nights, Including 2 hour break cover support for day carers.
Salary: £130 per night with £5.00 daily bonus.
This is a LIVE IN Role requiring 3 weeks on/ 3 weeks off
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Worker with experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and epilepsy. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team in a setting based in Roehampton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality overnight care and support the resident with learning disabilities and epilepsy.
- Monitor and respond to any needs during the night, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the individual.
- Assist with medication management, as required.
- Work with the House Manager and Team Leader to ensure consistent care and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate records and handovers for the day staff.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with waking nights, learning disabilities and epilepsy.
- Strong observational skills and the ability to respond to emergencies calmly and effectively.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
