- Your leadership will help ensure each day is filled with enjoyment, dignity and choice
As team leader, you will:
- Provide day-to-day guidance, supervision and support to a close-knit team of carers
- Champion person-centred values, ensuring every interaction is respectful, empowering and shaped by what matters to our client
- Help maintain a warm, positive, high-quality support environment
- Coordinate routines, encourage creativity, and make sure the team is always striving for excellence
- Play a key role in enabling an active, exciting lifestyle
Why join our team?
- Great place to build your skills with ongoing professional development
- We celebrate our successes and genuinely care about our teams: celebrating work anniversaries, birthdays and organising team socials
- Free Employee Assistance Programme offering confidential advice and support
- We’re rated 5 stars for culture and management by our teams (source: Indeed)

- Potential for quarterly performance-based bonus scheme
- Benefits package including: 33 days holiday per annum (pro rata and inclusive of bank holidays), NEST pension scheme, client referral scheme, family and friends’ discount, Blue Light Card
About you:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in care, with a strong understanding of quality care practices
- Experience in supporting people with learning disabilities and epilepsy essential
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility, to support at weekends and evenings
- Compassionate, proactive, and solution-focused

Competitive Rates of Pay
We recognise that it takes exceptional people to do such a demanding yet rewarding job, because of this we want to ensure we always have one of the best pay rates in the industry for both Live-In and Visiting Care. We also offer double pay on all public holidays and paid client-to-client mileage.
-
Refer-A-Friend Scheme
Without good quality carers, we know that we cannot provide person-centered, bespoke care to those we support. Some of our best carers have come through our referral scheme, so with this in mind, we are offering £400 per carer referred!
-
Your Personal Development
Together, we will guide and support you to develop your skills and confidence in providing high-quality care for clients, through the Induction and refreshers program, which consists of our CPD accredited online training paired with our experience lead classroom learning. We can support you with further learning, such as a Diploma in Health and Social Care.
-
Extra Support For All Staff
When joining our care team, you will have a dedicated Care Manager, Care Supervisor, and full office team to help support you throughout your career. We also have an Employee Assistance Programme where you can anonymously seek help, guidance, or assistance for any concerns you may have, in your work or personal life.
Our Culture
At Ashridge Home Care, we have worked hard to create a culture that we are proud of, where our staff and clients feel valued and respected, and are at the centre of everything we do. Our drive is to deliver the service that we would want for ourselves or our family members, should we ever need help in our own home. If you are looking to work for a company who genuinely cares about and supports their staff as much as their clients, we are the organisation for you.
