Care Manager
Care Manager: The Gold Standard of Person-Centred Support
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum (plus quarterly performance bonuses) Location: Roehampton, SW London
Are you ready to practice care exactly as you’ve always believed it should be?
Most care management roles are defined by volume and the constant pressure of a large portfolio. This role is different. At Ashridge Home Care, we are facilitating what we believe is the most person-centred, high-quality support setup in the UK and we need an exceptional leader to take the helm.
This is a rare opportunity to focus your entire expertise on one individual. You will guide and inspire a dedicated team of live-in carers to support one remarkable woman living life her way. If you are driven by the deep professional satisfaction of enabling a life lived to the fullest, rather than just managing a caseload, this is the role for you.
The opportunity: quality without compromise
Our client is fun-loving, independent, and lives in her own home in Roehampton. Because she has 24-hour, 2:1 support, the usual practical restraints of social care are removed. You will have the time and resources to ensure her life is vibrant, active, and tailored entirely to her wishes.
Her lifestyle includes:
Relaxing monthly spa days and lunch outings.
Social trips, exhibitions, and visiting new attractions.
Constant opportunities for new experiences and meaningful engagement.
As Care Manager, your leadership ensures that every day is filled with enjoyment, dignity, and choice. You aren’t just coordinating a service; you are facilitating a legacy of excellence.
Your role as a leader
Champion excellence: Ensure every interaction is empowering and shaped by what matters most to our client.
Inspire your team: Provide day-to-day guidance and supervision to a close-knit team of carers, fostering a warm, positive, and high-quality environment.
Creative coordination: Manage routines and encourage creativity to ensure the team is always striving for the "small wins" that make a big difference.
Bespoke advocacy: Ensure clinical needs, particularly regarding Learning Disabilities and Epilepsy, are managed with absolute precision and empathy.
Why join Ashridge Home Care?
We are an award-winning team (Home Care Awards 2025) and were recently rated 5 stars for culture and management by our own staff.
Professional Growth: Ongoing development and a supportive, collaborative culture
Recognition: We celebrate work anniversaries, birthdays, and organise regular team socials
Benefits: 33 days holiday (pro rata), NEST pension, Blue Light Card, and a free Employee Assistance Programme
Bonus: Potential for a quarterly performance-based bonus scheme

Competitive Rates of Pay
We recognise that it takes exceptional people to do such a demanding yet rewarding job, because of this we want to ensure we always have one of the best pay rates in the industry for both Live-In and Visiting Care. We also offer double pay on all public holidays and paid client-to-client mileage.
-
Refer-A-Friend Scheme
Without good quality carers, we know that we cannot provide person-centered, bespoke care to those we support. Some of our best carers have come through our referral scheme, so with this in mind, we are offering £400 per carer referred!
-
Your Personal Development
Together, we will guide and support you to develop your skills and confidence in providing high-quality care for clients, through the Induction and refreshers program, which consists of our CPD accredited online training paired with our experience lead classroom learning. We can support you with further learning, such as a Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Extra Support For All Staff
When joining our care team, you will have a dedicated Care Manager, Care Supervisor, and full office team to help support you throughout your career. We also have an Employee Assistance Programme where you can anonymously seek help, guidance, or assistance for any concerns you may have, in your work or personal life.
Our Culture
At Ashridge Home Care, we have worked hard to create a culture that we are proud of, where our staff and clients feel valued and respected, and are at the centre of everything we do. Our drive is to deliver the service that we would want for ourselves or our family members, should we ever need help in our own home. If you are looking to work for a company who genuinely cares about and supports their staff as much as their clients, we are the organisation for you.
